GFWList can't cover everything as expected, due to reasons we have left some rules behind, if you believe these additional rules let you work/surf/play smoothly, consider adding them by yourself!

Caution: Once you have added ||akamaihd.net into custom rules, make sure you have sufficient bandwidth.

Steam (WARNING: Normally Steam will redirect your connection to 8686c.com which is powered by ChinaNetCenter (网宿). If you still encounter connection problems, please try switching your account region. Or, just adding ||akamaihd.net, ||steamcommunity.com, ||steamcontent.com, ||steampowered.com, ||steamstatic.com, ||steamusercontent.com if you don't want to read below):

||akamaihd.net: Akamai is a crucial CDN service being used by lots of websites. Steam has steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net (e.g SteamCMD) and steamcommunity-a.akamaihd.net (e.g Steam Community web elements) opened for various purposes.
||steamcommunity.com: Steam uses this domain for profile/group pages, in the past cdn.steamcommunity.com was used to deliver images but now it has been replaced by steamstatic.com mostly.
||steamcontent.com: SteamPipe.
||steampowered.com: Main steam website for Store, also for some other purposes, including CDN (cdn.store.steampowered.com, cdn2.store.steampowered.com, cdn3.store.steampowered.com, cdn4.store.steampowered.com), Partner, emoticons, backgrounds, news (media.steampowered.com), installer (storefront.steampowered.com), UGCs (cloud-*.steampowered.com, abandoned), content servers (cdn.edgecast.cs.steampowered.com, content[1-8].steampowered.com) and so on.
||steamstatic.com: Steam delivers store and user-generated contents via Akamai (cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com, store.akamai.steamstatic.com) and EdgeCast (cdn.edgecast.steamstatic.com); It also delivers community contents via EdgeCast specifically community.edgecast.steamstatic.com. Furthermore, Appinfo and client configs are delivered via clientconfig.akamai.steamstatic.com.
||steamusercontent.com: images.akamai.steamusercontent.com for UGCs, like screenshots.

Electronic Arts (Just adding ||akamaihd.net and ||ea.i.lithium.com if you don't want to read below):

||eaassets-a.akamaihd.net, ||eaassets01-a.akamaihd.net, ||eaassets02-a.akamaihd.net, ||eaassets03-a.akamaihd.net and ||eaassets04-a.akamaihd.net. EA uses Akamai CDN to deliver contents, such as by launching Battlefield 4 you need to open web browser to continue, adding this rule will shorten the loading time.
||origin-a.akamaihd.net and ||origin-b.akamaihd.net. EA uses Akamai CDN to deliver Origin contents, such as Origin client download, adding this rule will shorten the download time.
||ea.i.lithium.com. EA uses this platform for Answer HQ, but this domain uses EdgeCast CDN which has been interfered seriously.
