<p>The edit control supports simple
Undo, Redo and Cut, Copy and Paste. These standard operations can be
found in most editors and perform in very similar ways. You can perform
these operations by selecting the corresponding menu item in the Edit
menu, or clicking its button on the toolbar (<img style="width: 16px; height: 16px;" alt="" src="Images/Toolbar/cut.png"> for cutting text,&nbsp;<img style="width: 16px; height: 16px;" alt="" src="Images/Toolbar/copy.png"> for
copying,&nbsp;<img style="width: 16px; height: 16px;" alt="" src="Images/Toolbar/paste.png"> for pasting,&nbsp;<img style="width: 16px; height: 16px;" alt="" src="Images/Toolbar/undo.png"> for undo and&nbsp;<img style="width: 16px; height: 16px;" alt="" src="Images/Toolbar/redo.png"> for redo). Additionally, by default
the Cut, Copy and Paste options are available in the context menu (see
the section <a href="Context%20Menu.html">Context Menu</a> for more information).
<p>Browsing the <a href="Shortcut Mapper.html">Shortcut mapper</a> will show you more editing commands that duplicate or move lines, or send a line to clipboard without selecting it. See also <a href="Other%20editing%20tools.html">Other editing tools</a>.
