# Security Contexts

A security context defines the operating system security settings (uid, gid, capabilities, SELinux role, etc..) applied to a container. See [security context design](../design/security_context.md) for more details.

Update Admission Control docs and add others. Address most of the comments from #8936 review. Adds minimal documentation for securityContext and serviceAccounts, which I will expand in a future PR.
