## About this fork

Chevereto-Free is a mature fork of [Chevereto V3.16.2](https://releases.chevereto.com/3.X/3.16/3.16.2.html) in which only basic features are preserved. This fork was created for personal usage and small communities.

- Social network login
- External Storage servers
- User likes and following
- Manage banners

👉 **This fork misses**

- Native support for containers (12FA)
- User interface upgrade (V3.20)
- CLI API
- Installer support

## Installation

- Get the target [release](https://github.com/chevereto/Chevereto-Free/releases) you want.
- Provide the release in a web server with the following:
  - PHP 7.4
  - MySQL 5 / 8
  - Apache HTTP Web Server (or anything else)

## Future updates

We're sorry, but we will stop maintaining Chevereto-Free on **2021-12-31** and we won't produce any more releases for it. We a small 2-person team and we can't afford to keep developing this edition any longer, at least without external help.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you want to contribute to keep Chevereto-Free maintained. This is a good piece of software that helps many people.
